Adam Zingg, CFA offers both practical and theoretical perspectives that will benefit readers who wish to learn more about how to execute on views or strategies that interest them. In addition to over six years' experience as a trader, including time spent working in the CME and CBOE options pits for a prominent market making firm, I have also taught over 300 credit hours of finance, economics and mathematics courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I aim to demonstrate how complicated sounding ideas can be simplified and accessible. I look at opportunity sets both through the lenses of a trader and an investor, I look at both the macro economy, as well as at individual investments and sectors that are flashing attractive signals for action, long or short. Trading and investment are fascinating, applicable across a wide variety of fields and disciplines. Greater focus on targeting, execution, and exit strategies build transferable life skills. In reading my work, it is my goal that you will consistently glean useful insights and build skills that enhance your ability to trade and make important decisions. I hold the CFA designation, and I am also a licensed RIA. On a personal note, I have traveled to over 30 countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia/NZ, and I love the life I am building with my wife Lindsay and my children, Luke and Serenna. I believe strongly in the power of community, and to listening carefully to those whose convictions and opinions differ from my own.
